Do you need a box?

You can watch IPTV Next in many ways, but we strongly recommend an IPTV box. The boxes are good value and run reliably, and among our customers, those with a box have the fewest problems.

Other ways to watch, and what we think of them:

  • Android TV, for example Philips or Sony: the TiviMate app is the only option we recommend without a box
  • Samsung, LG and others: apps directly on the TV work well for some and less well for others, partly because of bugs and formats (codecs) that some TV brands cannot handle
  • We do not recommend the Smart IPTV app. It loses the channel list too often
  • We do not support MAG boxes. They are outdated and Infomir blocks IPTV

MAC address or login

A TVIP is linked to the subscription by its MAC address. A Formuler signs in with a username and password and needs no MAC address.

On a TVIP you find the MAC address:

  • On the underside of the box, where it usually is
  • In the box under Settings and then Network
  • It starts with 10:27

If you buy the box from us

You do not need the MAC address when you order the box.

TVIP: the box arrives with its settings in place. When it has arrived, send the MAC address to support and it will be activated.

Formuler: you get the login when you buy the subscription. You add it as a portal in MYTVOnline.

Always write the MAC address in capital letters.

Formuler or TVIP?

We sell both, and both work well with IPTV Next. The main difference is how the box is linked to the subscription.

Formuler

Formuler supports 4K and is the box we recommend first.

The boxes run the MYTVOnline app. Our instructions show step by step how to add a portal.

Choose Formuler to sign in with a username and password.

TVIP

TVIP is also a good choice. The TViP S.705 shows 4K Ultra HD and runs Android 11.

Choose TVIP for a box that is linked by MAC address and arrives set up.

Answers to the questions people ask most before ordering

Can I take the box abroad?

Yes. The box and the subscription work as long as you have an internet connection.

How fast an internet connection do I need?

At least 30 Mbit/s. Connect the box with a network cable if you can. On wifi, expect the picture to stutter at times.

Can I use a box I already have?

Often, yes. Our instructions show how to set up older Formuler models too, for example GTV, Z10 and Z8, as well as TVIP boxes. We do not support MAG boxes.
